So, you’re walking down the street at dusk, and come across a group of hooded teenagers walking towards you, what do you do?
Most people would automatically assume that these teenagers, like all other young people are "up to no good", typical troublemakers who have no life ambitions.
However, the majority of young people feel misrepresented and shadowed by the bad actions of the minority who hang around in parks and vandalise property.
It seems today that the image of a "typical" teenager has strayed even further from the truth. To keep the public interested, stories about out of control teenagers are created to keep papers selling and the public in fear of the younger generation.
Just because groups of teenagers are hanging around outside doesn't mean they are up to no good
