Secondary activity

Write a report

Today you are going to write a report about the use of shark fins in soup in China and Asia.

Re-read the story and then watch the video clip. Discuss in class what you already know about the problem.

You can use the internet to help you research your report but remember to be sure of your facts, make sure they come from credible sources. You can include your own viewpoint about the matter but make sure you back up your opinions with facts - for a good example of this read the report called Shark Fin Soup Facts in Find out more.

Plan what you want to say before you start writing  - this will help your report to be clear and easy to read.

Good luck.

What do you think about today's story? Share your thoughts with us by clicking on Have your say or send longer reports or podcasts to Be a reporter and we will put the best on the site.
