Bracken's football feast

HyperLink

Most dogs like to chew on bones, or sticks - but not Bracken, a two year-old Labrador.

Bracken chewed up and ate a football which became dangerously stuck right next to his heart.

In fact, if Bracken's owner John Grant hadn't taken the dog to the vets when he did Bracken would most certainly have died.

John noticed Bracken was coughing all the time and so took him for an X-ray at the University of Glasgow Small Animal Hospital where vets noticed an unexpected dark shape near the Labrador's heart.
