What are going to be the main arguments at the summit?
Developing countries, including China and India, believe it's the responsibility of wealthy industrialised, developed countries such as the US and the UK to set an example by drastically cutting their carbon emissions.
They say industrialised countries have caused the problem in the first place (ie: they've pumped out most of the greenhouse gases over the last hundred or so years) and they should be the ones to make the cuts - not the developing countries.
China has now overtaken America as the country who pumps out the most carbon dioxide into the air. But of course over history the America has pumped out loads more.
Developing countries China and India say it's their right to develop and grow their economy - and that means growing the amount of carbon emissions rather than dropping it.
